Following up to last year's brilliant "Solstice of an Ancient God", one of the year's highlights in terms of more orthodox, the same duo who's behind acts like Ghemhamforash, Kveldstimmer, Svarogn or Lunar Sorcery returns with a brand new demo. On a slightly more primitive take yet still inspired by the old currents of Rundagor, Forest and Hate Forest, Ichos Glaive releases a blazing recording of Norse-inspired mysticism. Fierce yet cold and spectral riffing sets the tone for Thör's final yield of the blade, as relentless drumming marks the rhythm of the Jötnar marching for Ragnarok. Excellent vocal performance as well, both in the more visceral witchery delivery as in the more epic and evocative clean chanting.
