Mütiilation - Black Milllenium (grimly reborn) 12"

French black metal band which in the early/mid 1990s recorded a couple of demos and a shelved album ('Evil, The Gestalt Of Abomination'), but shot to underground fame with the 1995 album 'Vampires Of Black Imperial Blood', after which main member Meyhna'ch immediately called it quits by proclaiming himself dead. A lot of the band's 90s releases (especially the full lengths) were important stables in defining the raw black metal style, as the recordings for these albums took lo-fi quality a step further for black metal.
